The Problem: Create a poster based on a typeface and proportions.

The Solution: Inspired by Swiss Modern design, a page size corresponding to route 2 was used to match the Futura typeface. The underlying structure is based on geometry and the vital role of the square, the circle, and rectangle. The radius of each circle, although only sections are visible, is repeated throughout the composition; the radius of the circle is the point size of the type and the radius of the circle is the thickness of the stroke for each circle. This geometrical relationship is a further acknowledgement of Futura and the geometric shapes that form the foundation of the typeface.
